The Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) is designed to promote accuracy,
fairness and privacy of information in the files of consumer credit reporting
agencies. AOA strongly endorses the letter and spirit of the FCRA. We believe
that this law and similar state laws recognize and preserve the delicate balance
between the rights of the consumer and the legitimate needs of commerce. You
can find the complete text of the FCRA at the FTC's
website.
